This is the start. Four words that mean a heck of a lot to me because it means I am very farthest I will ever be from the finish line (hopefully). It seems a lot has occurred since I first walked into the classroom. I would never have imagined I would be
here typing these very words. This class gives me a chance to do something I truly desire and chances are I will never get this sort of opportunity again. So, I’m going to grab onto this chance and never let go.
My first project I had in mind is doing a monologue. I try to find inspirations from the pros because, lets face it – they’re pros for a reason. I really like Colbert, Letterman, Stewart and those guys but I want my monologue to be like Craig Ferguson, the funniest man on TV. One of my biggest obstacles facing me is being funny, but like my idol Mr. Ferguson, I have a funny accent so that should help.
My goal for my next project is very simple but at the same time hard: to be funny by myself. I need to make a script for one thing and get some of my topics down on paper and not just on my head. I want to dress up in a suit (I know!), and look rather professional. In terms of the background I have no idea what I want as a background, I’ll be fine if it’s just green
